This privacy statement explains how Evelien Geerinckx Photography, collects personal data and what rights you have with respect to these data.
Geerinckx Consulting Services is a limited partnership with KBO number 0774.870.246 and address at Molenhuizen 31, 3980 Tessenderlo. Geerinckx Consulting Services will hereinafter be referred to as ‘Geerinckx Consulting Services’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’.

2.    Personal data processed

Evelien Geerinckx Photography processes personal data because you use our services, such as the website, and/or those provided by yourself. When you provide personal data from third parties, Evelien Geerinckx Photoraphy assumes that these third parties agree. Providing this personal data is done on your responsibility.

The following data is collected and processed:

  • Email
  • Photo]

This is done by storage in the client’s personal digital file.
Because people are captured on photo, Evelien Geerinckx Photography also processes special and/or sensitive personal data as described in the General Data Protection Regulation (e.g. your race/ethnicity is visible on a photo). However, by allowing yourself to be photographed you give permission for these photos to be used for the purposes described.
Through its website nor service, Evelien Geerinckx Photography does not intend to collect data from persons under the age of 16 without parental or guardian consent. However, she cannot control the age of website visitors, so parents are advised to be involved in their children’s online activities if they do not wish information about their children to be collected without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without such consent, please contact us using the contact details above, whereupon the information will be deleted.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide and should notify Evelien Geerinckx Photography as soon as there are changes.

3.    Reasons for processing

Evelien Geerinckx Photography processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • address information and e-mail address, to deliver goods and services to you,
  • photo, to complete the assignment and complete the portfolio
  • name and e-mail address, to send you a newsletter to inform you of interesting news, if you have given your explicit consent or if there is good reason for us to believe that you would be interested in this
  • If data is requested to enter a contest or receive a freebie, it will be used solely for that purpose unless you give additional permission to use it for marketing]

In every marketing email, you are given the option to unsubscribe.

4.   Automated decision-making

Evelien Geerinckx Photography does not make decisions based on automated processing, i.e. without human intervention, about matters that could (significantly) affect individuals.

5.   Duration of preservation

Your personal data is not kept longer than strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is collected, as indicated above. Invoicing data is kept for 7 years because accounting legislation requires it.
Photos taken during photo shoots are kept indefinitely, as they are part of the portfolio.

6.    Security

Evelien Geerinckx Photography has organized itself so that your data is optimally secured. Evelien Geerinckx Photography thus makes all reasonable efforts to protect the confidentiality of your data.

Evelien Geerinckx Photography shares your personal data with third parties when necessary to perform the agreement or to comply with any legal obligation (for example: bookkeeper). With companies that process your data in response to instructions from us (for example: to print a photo album or photo prints), we enter into an agreement to ensure that the same level of security and confidentiality is maintained as promised to you in this privacy statement. Evelien Geerinckx Photography remains responsible for this processing.

8. View, modify or delete data

You have the following rights regarding your personal data.
You can access, correct or delete it. You may request that we send you, or transfer to another organization named by you, your personal data in our possession in a computer file. Incomplete or incorrect data must be completed or corrected. You can also withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Evelien Geerinckx Photography . Thus, you have the right to ask us to delete your data when we no longer have a reason to keep and/or process them.
To exercise these rights, all you have to do is contact us using the contact details above. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, you are asked to send your proof of identity with this request. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within [4 weeks]. Submitting a request is free of charge, unless it is manifestly unfounded or excessive. In that case administrative costs may be charged.
